Re: What did you do today.
I finished up these fellas today:
(The fuel tank thingies will look a bit less gaudy when I've got the matte sealer on - they're shiny because of the wash I gave them.) They do feel like more-ish!
And unless I can finish up the 4 Kratos on my desk by tomorrow, they'll probably be my last 2023 models. Happy new year all!

Those guys look great! I'll have to drop by the table in January and see them in the field.
I'm also calling it for the year, and unless I've miscounted, it's 444 models painted. よいお年を

Happy new year, NagoyaHammer fam!
Being of an age where a (completely unironically!) fun new years eve consists of watching pop culture retrospectives on TV with the family while occasionally pottering off for a spot of painting, I finished up these guys last night, just in time to get them on the 2023 list:
Here's hoping you all have a great holiday and a great 2024!

3 minotaurs
An assassin
A maid
3 knights
2 merfolk
An animal enclosure
The Brutal Emissary for Malifaux
A captain, a dreadnought and some scouts for the Astral Claws

Re: What did you do today.
Nice, I dig that Emissary.
I finished up my first couple models of 2024, a couple of Marauders for Legions Imperialis:
The exhaust staining is sort of right up at the hard edge of the kind of effects I can pull off with acrylics / contrasts, but it'll do!

Great work both of you!
The Contemptor is my favourite though, my pro dread bias will get me every time.

ooh, that emissary! Put my girls in a box, will ya? Boooooooo! (nice paint job, though . It should maybe be mentioned for non-malifaux players that he's fecking huge. That's a 50mm base he's on.)
