Re: What did you do today.
@Mattb Thank you! I try. I also partially blame the bases
You could always get some Malifaux minis of your own...
The Emperor's Children are looking clean too!
Pumping out as much as I can before game day. Spelleaters are done.
The sculpts, while a pain to put together, are really cool.

Those are nice sculpts! Are they for Malifaux? They look malifaux-y.

@me_in_japan They are. They're Spelleaters from the Cadmus keyword in The Explorer's Society.

Re: What did you do today.
All looking very good!
I spent the weekend prepping the Dire Wolf for my Mordaxis force and getting started on the base. Resin is scary, but it seems a nice kit, and my only real worry now is whether I cleaned it well enough for the primer to stick.
Nethermaze is now over 50 days late in Japan, and my order of 3d-printed stuff from the UK seems to be lost in the mail, so all my other projects are pretty much on hold anyway.
(All this Horus Heresy talk must be getting to me, though - I had an actual dream the other night that GW was re-releasing Space Marine. )

@Mattb - Those Emperor's Children are looking great. The pink is really vibrant.
@Grantholomeu - I like the cool, subdued colours you have used for the minis and the contrast with the warm brown bases.

Re: What did you do today.
Between Tau, Heresy and 梅雨 I'm doing a lot more assembly than painting, so probably not posting much here for a little while.
But I did want to shout out to the new Contemptor kit, it's great. Many, many pieces but there's notches or guides for all of them and it's basically impossible to screw up. Also highly poseable if you're less boring than me!

Hey. Squats are back. Pigs are making regular flights in the light of the blue moon. Anything could happen. I'm waiting for the "Squelch" and "Trolls in the Pantry" re-release myself. The Other Dave wrote: ↑Sun Jun 19, 2022 10:25 pmAll looking very good!

And let me second that "NIce bases." and "NIce poppin' pink." Good stuff guys.

Re: What did you do today.
The new squats do look tempting too, so far.
I finished assembling my Dire Wolf last night (pretty painless, except for some annoying multiple-part pistons on the feet), so now like Jye I’m just waiting for the weather to clear so I can prime.
