Re: What did you do today.
Having finally gotten all I'm going to get out of Cyberpunk 2077 (and eyeing the three new Underworlds warbands in the pipeline), I got to work last night on my fourth Legio Mordaxis titan.
Feel free to call me Dave!

"Still haven't painted my Octarius scenery" getting slowly less true.
I'm still plugging away on the French. About half way through the Hussars.

The Octarius Killzone is surprisingly good value but you may be able to track it down even cheaper if anyone is still parting out the Octarius box.

Nethermaze and the Electric Zombies are still a no-show in Japan so it's time to rescue these lads from the backlog for the next run of Underworlds games.
Makes a bit of a change from all the elves!
I quite like this team but oddly have only ended up playing them online, so hopefully that will get fixed soon.

Put the finishing touches on a new Commissar today. Too useless to use on the tabletop, but I quite like the model. I even tried to experiment with a different skin tone by trying to make him look really old - like he's 130 and only kept alive with rejuve treatments or something.

Nice work! Fingers crossed that a Codex rescues him for the table before too long
Re: What did you do today.
Using a commissar should be mandatory, punishable by a bolt pistol shot to the head like all good Imperial Guard rules. Especially when you have a nicely painted model like that. While I understand that people want to play the meta, sparing a few points for flavour is good too.

Made a start on the Asuryani a little bit ahead of Golden Week. 42PL to go!

Oh nothing about my army is even remotely "meta".Primarch wrote: ↑Wed Apr 27, 2022 7:37 amUsing a commissar should be mandatory, punishable by a bolt pistol shot to the head like all good Imperial Guard rules. I just prefer using my Commissar with powerfist, because he's cool.
@Jye: Nice Wraithlord! I'm looking forward to finally going up against an Eldar army at some point. From what I've heard they're pretty scary at the moment.

I don't think the random assortment I'll have painted for next time are that scary, luckily
