Re: What did you do today.
I spent a pleasant day organizing cards and tokens and deckbuilding for Underworlds, what with the new set having over the weekend. I'm still behind on painting, but in the grand scale of things my "pile of shame" amounts to a couple dozen models, so it shouldn't take me long to get into it when I flip the switch.

Re: What did you do today.
I spent a lovely, sunny Golden Week in the dank, dark root-cellar maddly chopping and puttying and generally rootifying some Turnip 28 toys. I had the "Revolutions" podcast going in the background as inspiration. HIstory never fails to fill one with a sense of dread, dismay, and horror. The last two "Chaff" I re-sculpted into a kneeling position, and will take some time. I have to put the final touches on some Bastards and then have to decide on one more unit of something and a couple more Snobs to lead this muddy rabble.
...and now his Head was full of nothing but Inchantments, Quarrels, Battles, Challenges, Wounds, Complaints, Amours, and abundance of Stuff and Impossibilities.....

That's a good podcast/hobby combo!
I got up early today to prime but despite an otherwise lovely looking day the wind is howling outside so I'm giving up on that and I'll reroll the weather dice tomorrow.

Couldn't prime so I found one of the random primed minis lying around and splashed some Contrast on him.
This guy will serve as the foot Chaplain for the Dark Angels Combat Patrol. It's not the same mini as the one in that box but is a Primaris Chaplain so all good.

Slapped some paint on the new Stormcast for Underworlds so I can use them this week!

Nice! They and the Tzeentch dudes look really interesting in play too - almost enough to make me set aside my "every warband in order" thing. (Fortunately the poison deck also looks like a lot of fun, so that may satisfy my magpie new-stuff-attraction mind.)

@Jye: nice work, your output is outstanding! You should have quite a few combat patrols ready to go by 10th.
Meanwhile, my output has been the exact opposite.
I recently upgraded my laptop and videogames have seriously dug into my time. All these previews have made me want to pick up a brush again though, so I was able to push through and actually finished 2 squads of new Cadians (or perhaps it's just one squad now ).
