This one got knocked over in a few random meetings this week, another 6PL on the Custodes pile. Bring on the nerfs so I can play them

Also got out to Ichinomiya today for quite a few games of Underworlds. The above pirates didn't do *great* in their debut, their gimmick is rough to use in the early game and an early game without a gimmick is a tough game. Still, it's amusing to shiv people with a monkey and the games were good fun as always.

I started work on the wall of martyrs trench line I picked up for my Guardsmen. I'm not sure if I want to actually go through and pick all of the bones in detail though - there's so bloody many of them!
It also really bugs me that they didn't make it wide enough for heavy weapon teams on 50mm bases.

Looking great! I love that terrain though yeah it's a lot of detail. Corpsey detail.

I have been priming every day this week but I'm now out of primer so I need to paint things . I got a few barricades for Necromunda "done" but I don't think a single contrast colour sloshed on meets the threshold for taking a photo.

I guess heavy weapon support interferes with the whole martyrdom process.

Ok, ok you convinced me.
I just picked out the bones and did a bunch more srybrushing.

There you go! Nice, nice, nice skulls, skulls, skulls. I've found shading bones with a touch of purple/blue sets off the touch of yellow/brown in the mid-range. Not my invention, read it somewhere. Still needs spikes, barbed wire, and MOAR SKULLZ! (insert skull smiley here) And next, you break out the weathering powder, rust effects....it never ends!
