I managed to get some Ultramarines finished yesterday and some pictures taken today.
Some extra Tactical Marines to bulk out my Line units.

Some Seekers to take my unit up to 10 men.

Some extra Heavy and Tactical Support Marines to bulk up those units.

And a Legion Champion.

Over the past week or so I've been painting:

-and came home tonight to finish up the last of Skittershank's Clawpack for Underworlds:

Nothing like some Clan Eshin goodness! Here I was all sure I'd be bringing the shadow elves to the next Underworlds meetup, and then these guys turn out so good I want to bring them too / instead / I don't even know any more.

I finally put the finishing touches on my Lucius the Eternal, so hoping to finally get him onto the tabletop sometimes soon.
My favourite part of this model is how genuinely creepy he looks - there's just something about his smile being a little too big.

@Jus - Nice work, the overall look of the mini is limited to a few similar colours with the red cloak offering a nice contrast. Awesome stuff.
@ToD - Marvelous looking ratmen, yes yes.
@Mattb - Lucius looks wonderfully creepy and grotesque.

That Lucius in particular is tempting me to start a Loyalist Emperor's Children force just to squish him though. #TeamTarvitz

Last week I caved and got me a zoat off eBay:

Ehh, not my best, but it'll do (the green isn't quite so crayon-vibrant in real life). The gun will probably get a bit of punching up before I call him done.

Unfortunately, having eBayed this fella to rectify my missing out when it was actually on sale, I may have to also get the final expansion Ascension, which will take up a whole month's hobby budget. Still, the completionist in me is calling.

All I have to paint ATM, though, is the start of my Epic 30K force I got jus to print out for me, so I'l figure out basing for them over the next day or so while I make the final decision on what legion to actually go with. (Contenders are Word Bearers, since they're just terrible and also fit thematically with my Legio Mordaxis force, or a small force of Death Guard in Dusk Raider colors to go with / eventually become my 40K force.)

That is a fine Zoat! I like the bright colours on a model that calls back to Rogue Trader.
