On the whole me likey. Planes with wings? What a novel idea. The new termies look nicely different from the standard kit and the bikes seem to have some cool new options. Belial is covered in bling, but a little static and I am not sure what the new Land Speeder is meant to be. It appears to have less guns than the current one but is much bigger...

Some come January my first legion is going to get some loving. Great.

I like the Aquila fighters. I will be gettting one of those for sure. All the models look great but just not into hooded models. I have a terminator with one and the head is coming off asap.

Just for the record, I reckon the fighters are...ok. Meh, theyre imperial Aquilas (Aquilae?), and the original was a nice enough model. Everything else - meh, more mahveens. *shrug* But hey, I know dem marines is popular, so I posts da linkies. Y'all feel free to discuss the merits and whatnot. Don't mind me being a grumpy old git

I would imagine that all of the new toys are only for Dark Angels. Regular marines already get their own fighter and the Blood Angels have their own option as well.
Hmm, the dual plasma cannon land speeder lools snazzy.

The new fighters are Dark Talons, based on the vanilla codex Storm Talon. The Aquila is an Imperial Navy shuttle for carrying passengers and light cargo. Forward swept wings are a pretty common design feature on Imperial flyers.

Looking again at the new Land Speeder, I would hate to be the forward gunner when those plasma cannons open up. I guess the gets hot rule covers those times when the plasma blast vaporizes the guy standing in front of the barrels. Still looks cool though.

They look great to me. I love the hooded warrior-monk look myself.

I've always loved the monastic theme of the DA. Of course I still haven't unpackaged or even used my new chaos. I'm just glad I didn't but Balial yet.

BTW, do you guys think the new termies are kind of skiny?

I think the skinny termies may just be victims of poor quality pictures. We shall see.

I wonder if the wings were a last minute addition to a storm-talon-a-like, based off the huge amount of "that's a stoopid-looking flying brick" comments it garnered far and wide...
