Big orcs

Post by me_in_japan » Fri Nov 08, 2013 12:57 pm

Well.

Today, I backed this:

You may call me mad, but I asked Kaz (my barometer of normality) and she pointed out that compared to a lot of people I really don't spend that much money. I mean, in the past 2 - 3 months I've spent maybe 1man on hobby stuff. That's really not very much, when you compare it to what folks spend on pub, pachinko or (dare I say it) golf. And that was what I'd consider a pretty spendy couple of months. (New Malifaux edition, Vossy offering a cheap HPA, etc)

So, anyway - I shall hopefully be receiving a gigantamungous Orc on a big beastie sometime next year. I love crowd funding, ohyesIdo :)

Pretty swish looking.

Aside from my birthday and xmas, I spend almost nothing on the hobby. Now the pub is another matter altogether ;)

Rocco is doing well, and has opened up another couple of free minis, although tbh I'm really only backing this cos I like the fig rather than for freebies. Still, extra free stuff is n'er a bad thing. Also, damn but that Carasco bloke can sculpt fast:

Getting something looking that good at a larger scale is bloody tough, but they manage it in centimetres, it blows my mind.

A muscly beast, and no mistake. Vg on the anatomy, not that I'm an expert, but the sculptor clearly is.
