A Monthly Goals Thread

4e Hussards, painted and based. Just needs flocking when I have a chance.
Techpriest, painted and base. Needs some highlighting and grass on the base.
I'm going to claim a relative success.

For April, I need to get my new BA army done. So my target is a 750 point army including a tank and a piece of artillery.

Done and considerably more than 750 points as well. The army comes to 997 points in total.

I never claimed to do this as a goal, but I had it as a personal one; finish a regiment of line infantry. With exception of the flocking it is done.

I had it in my mind to have the battalion of chasseurs halfway finished, but I'm still stuck at assembling the last 6 skirmishers.

Next month, I have a lot of work and family things, so my goal is just paint up and, if I can order the bases, base the chasseurs regiment.

This month I managed the remaining 5 jetbikes and not 2 but 5 more corsairs. The void singer is also blocked in and awaiting shades/highlights. Overall, reasonable success this month.

Next month, targets are to finish the void singer and get a goblin and 2 zombies done for Frostgrave. After that, I dunno. Scenery/tables or some kind of bigger project.

Since May is already here, I guess it's time for more painting pledges.
This month I hope to paint:
A 12 man unit of archers for Lion Rampant.
5 minis for D&D.
2 British Universal Carriers.

Well, April was a complete wash. For whatever reason (the new BFG computer game may have had some culpability) I couldn't get much farther than an initial weathering drybrush on my Germans. To try and get back in the groove, this month I'll set my goals small and "fun" and paint these jabronis:



A more or less completely superfluous addition to my Advanced Space Crusade set in the form of some close combat terminators and a heavy flamer option.

Hit my goal - that's a good feeling after the dead month of April.

I'm still pondering what to line up for June. I really really should get to work on my BA stuff, I suppose...

Finished the Legere regiment this evening. I've been looking and reading about the uniform details of the 1st Polish Line Regiment, something I've wanted to paint for years. Should be fun.
