My Epic Guard

Here's my Epic Steel Legion force in all its glory. Since these pictures were taken, all the vehicles got based up as well.

The whole shebang - it's something like 8,000 points altogether. A typical game would be 3000 points, which might be a couple infantry companies, the tank and artillery companies, and the storm troopers. Personally I think 5000 is the sweet spot for E:Armageddon, though.

Superheavies for the win. I think I know someone on these boards who can match these numbers in 40K scale...

Hmm. Something odd seems to be going on with clipping [ img ] links from Photobucket. Any ideas what it might be?

I think Primarch could probably field most of that in 40K :)
As for the photo prob, PM our mighty Overlord and he'll get his servitors on to it.

OOooh, I know the answer to the clipping problem.

The forum can only display images up to 600 pixels in width (well, 6hundred and something, but I figured at 600 for safety.)

i had exactly the same clipping problem when I uploaded my nurglies first. I had to resize them on the PC, and then re-upload them to photobucket. THEN i discovered that photobucket had cached my originals or something, as no matter how often I re-uploaded, it would say "ok" then the pics wouldnt change. I ended up having to delete the pics on photobucket, rename all the new, 600px files on my PC, then re upload and re-do my posts on this forum.

Anyway, lesson learned. resize em to 600 x whatever before you upload em in the first place.

A-ha! Good to know, thanks.

Far too much of a PITA to resize the ones above. Imagine more tanks off to the right in each picture. :)

Something else I never knew about Firefox!

My first 3000 points of Eldar are nearing completion - just the finishing touches on some Wave Serpents then a couple of Revenants and they'll be done. Then the next sunny day I'll get my pix on.

Till then, here's a teaser (hopefully photobucket let me resize it to 600 pixels wide without trouble):
