help. I need soap :(

Does anybody know where I can buy this stuff:
http://www.dickblick.com/products/maste ... preserver/

anywhere in Japan? I really, really wanna get some as I've been finding it pretty much impossible to keep my brushes clean, and it gets stellar reviews. I wash my brushes in soap and water every day, and its just not cutting the mustard. I would just buy it from DickBlick, but I'm scared of the shipping costs. 6 bucks for the soap, and god-know-how-many bucks for the shipping seems daft.

I tried to look for it in Japan, but I cant even find a normal, dedicated online art store, never mind the specific product. It does exist in this country, though, because I found it on one single japanese site that unfortunately requires users to purchaes club membership cards before you use their site. Gits :(

So, a cry for help: can those better able to look stuff up in Japanese please, please take a shufty around the internetto and see if they can find me some Master's brush cleaner and preserver, onegai shimasu?

thank you!

dave

Have you tried using nail varnish remover for cleaning your brushes? It might be better than soap and water since it dissolves the paint more than soap will.

Sorry, but I have no idea where to find that stuff. Try shooting a mail off to Taka as he might know.

nail varnish remover would indeed get the paint off, but would take the bristles with it...

update: my wife found a site for me that sells it for 1500yen plus 500 yen shipping. 2000 yen for a 6 dollar product infuriates my inner Scot, so I'm still looking for a cheaper option. I emailed DickBlick and asked how much shipping would be. Im guessing less than 14 dollars...
