In the interest of continuing to share nice minis.
I recently stumbled upon something called the Dark Age of Sigmar, or AoS28 as it is sometimes called. It seems to be an attempt to merge Inquisitor (specifically the Inq28 fan version) with Age of Sigmar and add a healthy dollop of Blanchitsu along the way.

Re: Interesting stuff I found via facebook today...
ah, yes. I'm in the DAoS facebook group and there's a lot of nice stuff in there. The dryad-y things are particularly cool, I reckon. It's a good setting overal, although I say this regarding the visual aesthetic only, as I have no idea about the actual background.
Inq28 is another group I'm in, but while there are certainly a bunch of lovely conversions, it's rare to see them painted well. There's an awful lot of sepia pictures of plain unpainted conversions, or alternatively just straight up sepia painted minis. The approved method in the group looks a lot like: paint in muted shades of red, brown and beige. Slap Devlan mud all over everything, add some spatter. Done. I'd like to see a pro have at the style, though (not including John Blanche, who is a pretty active member of the group, actually. Clearly he's a pro, but since his style informs the whole aesthetic he doesnt count.)

Suddenly I have a crazy urge to stop by Joshin for a Tamiya car kit. I love the little grot turning up the nitro. So Mad Max.

Truly, one of the great things about Orks is that literally anything *can* be an Ork vehicle if you put your mind to it.
