Re: Andrew builds a Thunderhawk Gunship
I suppose, given what it could’ve been, 400quid isn’t bad. I mean, it’s still 400 quid, but I suspect the 1 grand isn’t too far off the mark these days. It’s certainly more than I’d ever consider paying for a mini, of any kind, but it’s equally certainly a lovely piece to have in your collection

It’s the second most expensive mini I own - cheaper than the Warhound Titan, more expensive than Smaug.

blimey. I hadnt realised warhounds were so pricey. I have a revenant, and it was nowhere near that much.

Into the scrag end of 2020, and it's finished!
The finished article, in all its '90s glory.
A frontal view. Looks like I got the wings symmetrical from here.
Closeup of one of the gunner positions.
The engines and the wiring behind the air brakes. One of the few spot colours on the model to break up the grey.
And finally, the weight of the thing:

Congratulations on getting that beautiful beast of a model assembled and painted. It looks magnificent (and incredibly heavy).
