I met a guy who is starting to paint Gundam, and he asked me if I knew what type of brushes were best for painting small details, and where he could buy them (he didn't see any at Joshin, he said).
I figured this was the place to ask!

Re: brushes for detail work
I think Volk's, just down the street from Joshin, is the place to go for serious painting (and Gundam modeling) supplies - they have racks and racks of paints and brushes to pick from. I use the Bunseido series that they sell there, and they've all been very nice.
Feel free to call me Dave!

Thanks! I actually pointed it out as a place he might try, but I didn't know the name of the brushes, of course. Also I thought it was "Box"..The Other Dave wrote: ↑Tue Feb 09, 2021 12:06 pmI think Volk's, just down the street from Joshin, is the place to go for serious painting (and Gundam modeling) supplies - they have racks and racks of paints and brushes to pick from.
