Well, I've made a start.

Roughly 500ish points of the XIIIth Legion.

Those going to be Crimson Fists? Love the old-school missile-launcher and the old MK? helmets.

Ultramarines. They are kitted out in Mk.III, IV and VI for Tacticals, Devastators and Seekers respectively.

A start is a start! Bolstering the depleted ranks after Calth. Lorgar`s treachery shall not be forgotten.

I already posted this in What Did You Do Today, but for posterity this is my first cadre. The 10 Cataphractoi count as two troop squads for Pride of the Legion, the Terminator Captain can serve as a Praetorian, the dreads can be played straight in either game, and the remaining terms can form most of a Varagyr squad or an Indomitus squad (the Ancient's big flag counts as a Vexilla right?). Easily over 500pts.

I finally got all the gold bling done on my Ultramarines. Still lots of detail work, a couple of washes and then a spot of tidying up to do.

Looking good! Ultramarines need their bling.

They may not be quite as fabulous as the Emperor's Children, but the Ultramarines do bring a level of class and style to the tabletop.

Well, I finished off a lot of Ultramarines and some Word Bearers this month.

First off, the Ultramarines.

Some extra Tactical Marines to bulk out my Line units.

Some Seekers to take my unit up to 10 men.

Some extra Heavy and Tactical Support Marines to bulk up those units.

And a Legion Champion.


For my Word Bearers.

A Land Raider.

And some Recon Marines and a couple of Tactical Support Marines.


All told, I think that is around the 750 point region.

For next month, I have my 500 points planned out, I just need to get the primed.
