i voted nova marines because most of the other ones require a second look to determine what chapter they are (there's lots of darkish green marines, for example) but nova marines are nova marines and nobody else.

Also because I double dog dare you to actually paint a whole army in that scheme. go on. go on. go on go on go on go on go on go on go on...
Dang dude, you just jumped into this thread and brought the big guns out to play right from the start. A double dog dare without hesitation, brutal!

But you know what? The jokes on you. I'm just the kind of idiot to take you up on it! I figure I should have (ギリギリ) just enough models to do a Novamarines force along with my original plan of 1 secessionist force and 1 loyalist.

Novamarines are go!

Not much progress to report as of late, my Novamarines are still half done, and after a big batch of Mantis Warriors a couple of months ago, I haven't really done much in the way of painting.

But... Some Badab War enthusiasts over on Bolter and Chainsword are working at converting all of the old Imperial Armour material to be used with the Age of Darkness (aka Horus Heresy, aka the best parts of 5th - 7th ed) rules.

So far it is all looking a bit rough around the edges, but the rules do look pretty reasonable. If you want to check them out, the newest version is here!

Fingers crossed this gives me some impetus to get more models done.
