Printed Neoprene (or other) Mats

Post by Jye Nicolson » Fri Jul 28, 2023 9:52 am

I got as far as checkout for a set of 40k themed 12x6 inch mats to use as terrain bases before I saw the shipping price

What would be a good option locally for that? I guess the easiest would be just printing on card stock but something non-slip would be best 🤔

One option is to find somewhere reasonably local who’ll sell a standard gaming mat (eg 4’ x 4’) and cut it up. Alternatively sign printing companies might be able to print something onto vinyl for you. Or anywhere that makes branded merchandise.

I’m in the UK so I can’t help with specific suggestions I’m afraid.

I guess my first instinct would be that that's a good use for that one fold-up board you have that's falling apart - replace it and cut it up neatly into its 8 little sections, and use those as terrain bases?

I should cut up my 6x4 mat that I've used all of once 🤔

If I did that GW would instantly revert to full 6x4 tables and mat havers the world over would thank me.
