Davesgames.net (not related to ANY of the Daves on this site), does a range of great 30mm scale card craft buildings suitable for Warhammer Fantasy, Mordheim or even Dungeons and Dragons. At the moment, he is offering a coaching house for free, so you can download it, print it and see what you think.

The paper stuff is ok for WFB where usually it just blocks line of sight and units cant actually fit inside it anyway. For 40k I wouldnt recommend it because it is often important where models are placed within the terrain.

Only if it has a flat roof and you manually scale it down from 30mm to 6mm and you want to play Epic in a fantasy village. GW's own stuff is great for Epic since it comes in sizes which can block line of sight to Titans.

It is. It just so happens that the out of print game came with a lot of out of print scenery.

From what I have seen it should not be that hard to make some buildings out of card for Epic... buy it would be cool to play with lots of really cool wee epic terrain...

Main problem (in my experience) with card for folks like us is that it doesn't hold up to transport well at all (not to mention humid Japanese summers). Printing out card buildings and sticking them onto foamcore is likely to work out better, although that opens a whole 'nother can of worms, construction-wise.

I guess I can see that... I may have a go at making some Epic terrain sometime...
