Desperate for Devlin Mud

Post by job » Sat Nov 13, 2010 12:08 pm

How can I get hold of GW paints in Japan? Does everything have to be ordered from abroad, or is there a way to order with mail delivery in Japan? Or better yet a GW paint distributor in the Nagoya/Chubu region?

Iconoclasm is a good spot
GW Japan is also good
or if you feel like taking a train ride, kodomo rakuen has it up in Tajimi

I generally order from overseas. Its not as fast as going to the shops, but its a damn sight cheaper, especially if one factors in train fare etc. I guess if you were just getting one or two pots it might be better to get it from a japanese online store, but the price difference between GWJ and Wayland is very big and Wayland's shipping is very reasonable. (They also stock Vallejo and P3 paints, both of which are ace, btw)

Wow. And then Corona happened. Just....crickets, all the way through to 2023...

Go to Yellow Submarine in Hisaya-odori. I can give you directions if you need them. They stock the full range of GW paints right in the centre of Nagoya.

Yeah, I found Yellow Submarine and picked up several Citadel paints. It was kind of nostalgic to see a game store and the 40k/Fantasy boxes again. Of course there were plenty of unfamiliar sights in there, too. Do they ever have GW game events at the store?

I know they used to. I think its mainly just opening new kits and putting models together once a month. Their gaming space is too small to actually hold games in.
