Dark Eldar colour schemes: discuss

Post by me_in_japan » Sat Nov 20, 2010 4:38 pm

Right, so Seb reminded me of how handy DoW was for colour scheme pickin', so I dug out my copy, reinstalled it, and banged out some dark eldar ideas.

My question is: what do folks think? these are old style dark eldar, obviously, but use yer imaginations and apply the idea to the new models. Which is the best, do you think?

I'm leaning towards option 2, meself, but am still very much open to suggestions...

I am not keen on any of them man... I am sure you can come up with something better... artistically these just do not cut the mustard man... Your Tau colors were absolutely great and your Eldar guardians are spot on... put some more thought in on them

if I had to pick I would say 1 and 3 with a bit of tweaking might give you what you are looking for.. good luck

Talk like Yoda the Admiral does.

Personally I would go option 2, but I would switch out the black body armour for a VERY dark blue/purple. That would allow for a little shading and highlighting.

It just struck me that this would be a rather fun theme for a dark eldar army...

incidentally, having been to see these chaps about half a dozen times in me yoof, I can attest to the fact that this is pretty much bang on accurate in terms of what it was like. The twitchy arm movement is especially lifelike....

I'm having visions of 5 heavily converted dark eldar on a pimped out raider with geetarz and amps and suchlike. Dais of Destruction, indeed.... :D
