The Heresy Dragon

Post by me_in_japan » Sat Dec 04, 2010 6:25 am

Somewhat behind the times, here, but Heresy Andy has finished his dragon. Most of you maybe know Heresy already, but for those who dont, it's one bloke, Andy Foster, who sculpts minis for a living. Brilliant characterful models, and perpetually on the edge of bankruptcy. Some time ago, he was told by his taxman that he needed to come up with 10,000quid to pay his tax bill.

Andy decided to sculpt a dragon to pay for it.

Two years later, he finished :D

And bugger me, but is that a fine, fine dragon.

It is indeed a gorgeous model, and if I had 200 quid spare then I would most likely think of buying one. Sadly I dont have 200 quid spare and most of my money has been budgeted for other things for the next 20 years or so.
But it is awesome!

So when you deploy that in your starting area, where does the rest of your army go? That thing is MASSIVE!!!

And weren't you the fellow moaning in a 40k thread about 'tanks' being difficult to transport. I'd rather carry a couple of rhinos than try and get that beast into a box without breaking it or chipping the paint.
