True, Nighthaunter was essentially Batman in that he fought crime. I cant see him in the Nighthaunter-cave though, or driving the Nighthaunter-mobile though.

As a faction in-game, night lords dont really work (under the current codex theyre impossible to run.) but as a fluff chapter theyre definitely one of the best. I actually toyed with doing Night Lords instead of my stinkies. I decided against it due to the horror of painting so many black marines, but part of my plan was to convert all the vehicles to have tail fins like the batmobile, and to give every single marine little batman ears.

Probly best I decided to go with Nurgle, all things considered...

Night Lords are dark blue though..... Are you perhaps thinking of the Black Legion perchance?
And why are Night Lords impossible? Chaos Lord with Jump Pack, Check. Daemon Prince with Jump Pack, Check, Raptors, Check. Regular marines kitted out for assault, Check. Which chaos dex are you reading?

The one where your entire army cant infiltrate behind enemy lines, murder their superior officers, crucify em, and have the entire enemy army essentially operating with a Ld of 1.

That one, cos that who the Night Lords are.

And as for blue armour? peh. It looks daft and always has done, as do the big bat wing crests on the helmets. Night Lords wear black, like all proper bogeymen.

I'm a big believer in pre-heresy night lords. post heresy night lords are just black legion beotches. Totally uninspiring.
