I know someone will disagree but I think if you do them in a batch then they will look more uniform... I try to paint a unit all at once...

I hope you dont mean me?

I don't disagree with you here. Batch painting is good for units where you want the models to all look roughly the same. I dont
like to do batch painting as I prefer to do one model at a time, but it has it's uses.

Like Prim, I batch paint fairly often - thats what the airbrush is for, janai? Im not saying I enjoy it, in fact, I dont, but if you want to get 3 or more of something done in a reasonably short period of time, then batch painting is the way to do it. Its all about time, really. batch painting = lower quality, faster painting.

I find that if I batch paint then the units have a more unified look. have you ever felt that way ? MIJ

I'll start to batch paint, a unit but it after I get the base colors and a wash on the bigger areas, I end up focusing on one miniature at a time. Not that I'm a finicky painter, I just have a small brain and can only do one thing at a time.

Batch painting is efficient. It is also soul destroying. Not for me I'm afraid.

Exactly!
I did my Crimson Fists like that, I did my High Elves like that. If you want me to play with a fully painted army other than those two, please wait a century or so.
