Always nice to get a bit of painting done after a hiatus!
I'm kind of lucky, I guess, in that the proportion of "fun stuff" to paint for my Gobbo army is quite high now that I have the bulk of my speargobbos done. You can see the trolls and spider riders that're currently on the bench, then I'll get to work on stone throwers and their crew (I'm using the undead ones from Mantic because, hey, plastic!) and 2000 points will be complete!

Thanks for the new thread - I shoulda thought.
I've been pondering, though - you know how Fanatics' average move is 7", and they're released when you get 8" away? Yeah. (That's the fun in them, though, I reckon.)

Once you figure out the trick to using them, thats the most dangerous part.

Yeah, I'm thinking most about the potential to screw up my own charges if I'm not careful, heh. I have some thoughts on how to use 'em, though. We'll see this month!

And here, seen as they practice for the Synchronized Crushing event in the next Olympic Games, are fan favorites Bert, Bill and Tom! Let's give them a big hand!

Looking good there. I'm excited to see them in person at Joshin this month. (And to try to kill them all).

An image of stone trolls in swim suits just flashed through my mind...repellent....
