Not sure what I'm doing then, but if a lot of people are bringing Cutlass then I will probably come for a day! Also from what I remember Dust Tactics doesn't require any models on my part?

Yep, I have plenty of models for Dust.

I was rather hoping you might be bringing Black Powder actually.

Same here. I hope Badruck will join me in defending the gains of the Revolution against the Old Establishment!

If he could we could maybe play some exciting battle?

I'll bring Cutlass, FOW and Black Powder. I'll also get out my 15mm terrain and anything I can bring for 28mm scale stuff.

Nothing is painted and to be honest I can't find half the models I bought for it.

Yes, Badruck, you don't even need all your forces. It is just a gentleman's game after all. Painted is nice, but having fun is always more important. (Anyway, half the models means only half the painting itinerary. ;) ) Please indulge us, sir, and bring your Frenchies.

Ok I will be honest I was never thinking of playing BP when other games could be played. It is something I want to play at my house not at an event or at an event were it is the only flavour of game.

Cutlass for me is a game we can get together and play as a group and really have fun with it. Pairing up for quick games and then pairing up again for more games.

I can't say that I am not disappointed, but the games you choose to play are your call to make. I guess it will be just myself and Marshal Job taking the field then. Unless anybody else wishes to join in the fun.

I can't quiet see the rationale behind this. While of course you play what you like to, but I beg to differ about Black Powder. It is a game that is written for events. It is designed with a Gamemaster in mind, so you need 3 people at least for the opportune experience. Priestly and our Primarch always preach the game is designed for 5-7 players to enjoy playing it together. I'm not sure about your space and schedule, but I think that is rather hard for us to gather together such a crowd at someone's house. Even three people is difficult. Moreover the game is played probably rather lovely on tables going beyond the limitations of 6'x4' boards. (Oh, I think it will be epic on an 8' table.) Most people struggle to fit 2 people and a 6' table in their homes.

Of course play as you like.

Maybe MtP would be interested? If could join, maybe he and I could take the part of Gamemaster and give you a chance to play a couple of games, Prim? That or Badruck join us as Gamemaster?

Got my parents coming so I doubt I can make it. I was thinking of buying Cygnar Gun Mages and long gunners. Would they be good substitutes for something in Black Powder?
