I'm not a big Izakaya-goer, (I love izakayas but I don't go often) so I can't say anything about the Nagoya izakaya scene. It does seem to be crowded often around downtown, but I still have to agree with Ashmie. I think a reservation should be enough, but paying money up front to reserve a whole izakaya seems to be a little bit of a risk. Anyway, there are probably some guys who would tag along, but don't want to put up the full price. They maybe beer-nursers and guys who have wives who control the pursestrings. I'd say a more casual affair would do better for Ork-toberfest.

Anyway, shouldn't we find something German-themed for this event? :D

The fact that I do not drink make izakaya an easy choice (no) but if the place has good good and all you can drink. I am in like Orcs on squigs. The place we went to last time around was great but and if you need Money up front i can pay you next time you com up for a game.

I realised I said I was attending but I didn't mention about the double down event.

I would like to tale part if there are enough of us Fantasy players. :)

So who's bringing what? I can bring war machine, strange aeons, dystopian wars, the usual. I got a butt-ton of card games recently that I can bring to play in-between games.

Saturday will be primarily Warhammer Fantasy due to the tournament, but there will be tables available for everything else. Sunday will be whatever folks fancy playing.
Ideally people will be bringing along:
Warhammer Fantasy
Warmachine/Hordes
Malifaux
Cutlass
Strange Aeons
And any other games that can be played on similar table layouts. I wont have Dystopian Wars with me though.

I'm there for Warhammer on Oct. 8th. I'll be battling it out for control of Prim's map.

Otherwise, if things are quiet in between games I'd be up for some Cutlass or card games.

Hey, is there still a nomihodai going on?

Yes,
I'll be getting numbers in the morning and trying to book a place once I know how many people are available.

I will be ther both days but on day one I have to go home early like 5:00 because I have a new job Saturday nights. I still want to play in the wargammer tournament but I will not be able to finish it. Still I can't wait to see all the well painted armies at the event. They will all be painted right?

What is going on during day 2?

I'll be there on Saturday with Hordes (I realized last Joshin day that I'm getting pretty dang rusty) and my Goblins - I don't think I'll do the tournament thing, but if anyone wants a pickup game I'll have 'em.
Feel free to call me Dave!

Heeey this is going down this weekend!
I am so busy with work that I barely have time to prioritise getting my hobby stuff ready. I work on saturdays so cant go then and I would have liked to go on sunday, bringing stuff for Strange Aeons and Cutlass but I dont think I can make it.
Hmm..
