Mate, I don't think I would have a good time. No slight against you or the effort you are putting in, but I reckon that I'm not really cut out for the tourney scene.

if you do another one of those Golden Week events I will be there with bells on That sounds like much more my cup of tea.

I believe that's what the big bruhaha is about over on the new rules for (naninani) forums. Theyre all going to be used at the next nagoyahammer event (i.e. golden week 2011). Plenty of time for the rather serious amount of conversion work involved in most of the units, which is good. I may even be able to get enough eldar painted by then. 10 months? surely i can do it...

Some of the Japanese guys are aware of the event, but no-one has said yes yet.

As a last ditch effort to get Spev on board, Id like to mention that although im going to the tourney, and will do my best to play competetively, I absolutely will not act the arse and get stroppy about stuff. If my opponent steals an inch on his movement, Ill point it out once in the assumption it was an accident. If he does it again, I'll keep schtum, then tell the TO quietly afterwards. If the opponent is the kind of person who does this kinda crap regularly, then all his opponents will tell the TO. He wil then get chucked out for being a wank. At no point will I get stroppy. And tbh, I dont imagine anyone will be an arse. There arent enough gamers in Japan for any of em to be uber competetive, so it'll most likely just be a friendly gathering of folks who want to play 40k. If it was a big American or European event, Id be cagey about going myself, but here? Nah, I cant imagine anyone getting arsey about winning at all costs.
