If you want to add extra vehicles, that's up to you. You will be using the list for other games, so it all depends on if you want extra toys in your force. An extra Lt. might be useful if you have a spare figure.
I have some extra US Armour that I will be making available on the day to any American forces.
2 Shermans
1 M10 Tank Destroyer
1 M20 Armoured Car
2 Jeeps
And, if I can get them all painted and finished:
2 Trucks
1 M8 Armoured Car
You are more than welcome to make use of some of them.

As for the observer, off-board artillery and airstrikes will be done a little differently in this game. The models will still be useful, but they won't be exactly the same as the standard rules.

Hey Prim, as I start on my Airbourne this month, I have 2 unassembled shermans and 2 unassembled US halftracks. Which of those should I do first in case I run out of time? The halftracks?

I will also be building papercraft gliders (horsa and Waco) for the US and Brit glider troops/tanks. Probably 3 of each?

Three of each glider sounds about right.
There are currently 3 Shermans available, so the half-tracks might be more immediately useful. If you can do the Shermans, great. If not, no worries.

The Panzer Lehr division was equipped with Panthers, so those should be fine. Panzer IVs were the main tank in use at the time, but there were a few Panzer IIIs as well.

Which army does Mr. Sugiura want to use. Either is fine, but if he could let us know sooner rather than later it would be very helpful.
