Greetings one and all. I am pleased to announce our next official gaming event, Orc-tober Fest.
On October 8th and 9th you are invited to come along and play some fantasy wargames in Nagoya.
Dates and times.
Saturday 8th
Doors open 9:30, Doors close at 9:00
Sunday 9th
Doors open 9:00, Doors close at 4:30
Venue and Directions.
The games will be held in Meeting Rooms 1 and 2 of the Nagoya City Lifelong Learning Center located near to Kanayama in Nagoya City. (Its about 10-15 mins from the place we used for NagoyaHammer this year).
From Kanayama station take the Meijo Loop line clockwise to the next station, Higashi Betsuin. From Nagoya Station take the Higashiyama Line to Sakae and transfer to the Meijo Loop line anti-clockwise for 3 stations.
At Higashi Betsuin, go out of Subway Exit 1 and go straight ahead. You will cross over a small side street and see a green bridge on your right and a Pink-ish building on your left. Keep going straight and you will come to an orange coloured brick tower and the Nagoya City Women's Center. The Lifelong Learning Center is the next building. It has a glass front and a circular front entrance. Its about 1 minute walk from the subway station. Go in through the front door and the rooms are on the left.

For players who want to play some WFB and are also taking part in The Grand Campaign there will be a special event on the saturday, the Double Up Tournament!
Double Up Tournament Rules.
You are limited to ONE army of 2000 points. You must use the same list for all 3 games on saturday. Pairings will be done randomly.
If you win one game, your team can claim 1 hex OR you can double up.
If you double up and win your second game, your team can claim 3 hexes (2 for the 1st round and 1 for the 2nd) OR you can double up.
If you double up and win your third game, your team can claim 7 hexes (6 for the 2nd round and 1 for the 3rd).
If you lose at any point you get ZERO hexes. If you choose not to double up you can claim 1 hex per game won and dont forfeit them if you lose a later game.
Games will be played to a time limit.
Game 1 will be 10:00 - 13:00
Game 2 will be 14:00 - 17:00
Game 3 will be 17:30 - 20:30
In the case of excessive rules arguments, discussions or other time wasting that results in the full game not being played I reserve the exclusive right to deduct hexes or to tell players to pull their fingers out. To aid in this, please read the main rulebook and know roughly where the rules are. Read your own army book. Re-read any rules that are relevant to your army. E.g. if you are using a lord on a dragon make sure you know the rules for monsters and monstrous mounts.
Please post in this thread if you want to participate in the event as spaces will be limited!
