The Spevna is not amused. He has nothing but disdain for figure skating and synchronised swimming.

If it does not involve kicking, punching, throwing, or lifting, its existence does not register to the Spevna.

But back on point, MiJ loves a bit of the swoosh so he does!

Indeed he does, but as prim so wisely pointed out, the guidelines are there precisely to avoid such "personal preference" taking over from neutral assessment of quality. Category 1 (first impression) is there to accommodate the fact that there is a need for "do i like it?" in any artistic competition. The other 5 categories are there to make sure the models are judged fairly (and not, as prim suggested, dismissed for being space marines)

Note that I dont dislike space marines enough to actually mark them down in any way (including category 1). That'd be silly (and unprofessional)

Thanks for the input, all :)

Ps @spev - it seems to me that ice hockey would fill your need for both a bit o punchin', whilst simultaneously gratifying your fixation with ice skating

Other than the 3 winners I am not sure if there are any.

I can take a few shots of mine though ;)

Another Congratulations to the three winners. Their entries were gorgeous....actually there were a lot of great miniatures in that competition. Nice work!
