The Event With No Name RULES

On August 15th we will be holding another event in Nagoya.
８月１５日, 名古屋に、別のイベントを行います。
We'd like to invite everyone to O-bomb!, a 1 day Warhammer 40,000 tournament.　
「O-bomb!」（爆弾）は１日のみのウォーハンマー40,000トーナメントです。是非来て下さい。
The tournament will consist of 3 games played over the day.
トーナメントは、1日間で計3ゲームを行います。
Please bring a 1500 point army.
アーミーは１５００ポイントです。
5th edition Warhammer 40,000 rules.
最新版ウォーハンマー４０，０００のルールで行います。
Official Codexes and Forge World will be allowed.
ウォーハンマーのコデックスとフォージワールドで行います。
No Super Heavies, Flyers or Gargantuan Creatures.
スーパーヘヴィー、フライヤーズ、ガーガンチュアンクリーチュアーズは使用出来ません。
Everyone must have a printed copy of their own codex (whether a real book or a Japanese PDF).
各自、コデックスのコピーを持参してください。（本でも日本語版PDFでもどちらでも構いません。）
Everyone must bring their own dice, tape measure (we'll be using inches not cm) and templates.
サイコロ、テープメジャー、テンプレーツ（型板）は、各自でご用意下さい。（ゲームでは、センチメートルではなく、インチを適用します）
A tray to carry your models between tables will be useful.
モデルを移動する際、トレーの様な入れ物を持参して頂けると、非常に助かります。
All armies should be painted to a minimum of three colours.
持参するアーミーは、全て3色以上にペイントして頂けるようお願いします。
All scenery will be provided so there is no need to bring your own.
情景モデルは、こちらでご用意しますので、各自でご用意する必要はございません。
To cover the costs of hiring the room and prizes there will be a charge of 2500 yen.　Food and drink is not included, but there are lots of reasonable places to eat nearby.
参加費用は、￥2,500となります。（ルームチャージや賞金等全てを含む）
但し、飲食は含まれておりません。開催場所の近くにいくつかリーズナブルな飲食店がございます

Scoring:
Games - 5 points max per round
Painting - 5 points
Sportsmanship - 1 point per round
Composition - 2 points

Games will be scored as follows:
5 points - Table your opponent
4 points - Hold all the objectives
3 points - Win
2 points - Draw
1 point - Loss

Painting will be as follows:
5 points - Models are painted, based, highlighted, shaded, some evidence of expert techniques (e.g. Non-metallic metals, blending etc).
4 points - Models are painted, based, highlighted and shaded.
3 points - Models have been painted to a reasonable gaming standard (more than 3 colours) and based.
2 points - Models have 3 basic colours and their bases have been done.
1 point - Models have 3 basic colours on them.

Composition will be as follows
1 point - Maximum of 2 of any non-troop/dedicated transport unit (e.g. 2 dreadnoughts is fine, but 3 is not), Only 1 named HQ choice
1 point - At least 1 unit in every slot (Elite, Fast Attack, Heavy Support. Troops and HQ should already have the minimum for the FOC).

In the event of a tie at the end of the day, Victory Points will be used to determine the winner. (See the scenarios section of the 40k rulebook for details).

Round 1 will have players being paired randomly.
Rounds 2 and 3 will have players being paired based on their scores.

There will be prizes from the Citadel Hobby range. The number of prizes will depend on how many people sign up to play, but the winner will definitely get something.

The nearest station is Kanayama. Kanayama is 5 minutes from Nagoya on the JR Chuo and Tokaido lines and the Meitetsu line. It is also accessible by subway using the Meijo line.
開催場所への最寄り駅は、金山駅です。金山駅は、ＪＲ名古屋駅（中央線、東海道線）と名鉄名古屋駅から電車で５分のところにあります。また、名古屋駅から地下鉄（名城線）でもアクセス出来ます。
There are lots of restaurants, bars, Izakayas and Karaoke near to the event hall.

After having things explained to me very slowly and simply, the O-bon event has now been renamed

so in My Blood angels list I could take 4 Landraiders but in my Chaos List I could only take 2... it that how it works...

Sounds like someone doesnt read his own codex....

so the DT is LR does not count as the third LR so if I take a 2 terminator squads and give them DT LR and then take a 3rd LR then I am cool to do that? and not get a point dropped for comp??

There are no limitations on dedicated transport for comp.
