oooooh! oooohoooohooooh!

gosh, gollygosh. In my (admittedly somewhat inebriated) current state best old-school and best conversion are soooooo gorram tempting. I have been able to summon up exactly zero mojo for painting Ynnari eldar, despite Yvraine being a very nice sculpt, but my brain is full to busting with conversion ideas. Also old school is always cool, so there's that...

Yes. Old school and conversion gets my vote. Konrad - get yer convertin' shoes on. Consider this a challenge

*edit* a question to the administratah: does the conversion need to be painted? If so, does the paint job count for much?

The savages say "Waaaaagh!" Will have to look around the bitz box again for the oldest, crustiest, weirdest bit of lead I can find. Going to be hard to match Spev on that count. Going to have to get my painting mojo back. I seem to have lost the ability to blend.

@MiJ and everyone else: I think the conversion should be the main thing, but I'll leave it to the 'people' to decide. A bare plastic/metal/green stuff conversion is gonna look rough compared to even a half decent paint job be?

I'm thinking to get people to bring out their models by the morning/lunch break. Voting will be during the break and game 2 slot. I'll then tally up the votes during the break during game 2 & 3 and announce the winners.
Any objections?

I am going to lock this thread in the next few days and make everything 'official', so if you have any ideas and thoughts 'urry up! :-) I have a lot of painting to do!
