Planning to attend NH17? - Please Read!

Post by Primarch » Thu Apr 20, 2017 10:08 am

To anyone planning to attend NagoyaHammer 2017,

Due to a series of real life events and conflicting schedules, it seems that a lot of people will only be able to attend one day of NagoyaHammer 2017 this year. The event had been planned with 40K (and related games) on the first day and a mix of games, primarily Bolt Action on the second. However, attendance on day 1 is very low, the days of having to find space for 8 or 9 games of 40K at a time have passed by the looks of things. On the second day, there are several people who will attend who don't play 40K, so it isn't as simple as just switching the days over.

So, in an effort to maximise games and playing with other people, both days will be opened for any games people want to play. Games should ideally take about 2.5 hours to play, so that everyone can get in the maximum amount of dice rolling possible. If you want to play BIG games, please ensure that neither you, nor your opponent schedule anything in the following time slot.

We'll aim for roughly:
Day 1
9:00 - Doors Open
10:00-13:00 - 1st game
13:00-14:00 - Lunchtime
14:00-17:00 - 2nd game
17:00-17:30 - Break-time
17:30-20:30 - 3rd game
21:30 - Doors Close

Izakaya?

Day 2
9:00 - Doors Open
9:30-12:30 - 1st game
12:30-13:30 - Lunchtime and Painting Contest
13:30-16:30 - 2nd game
16:30-17:00 - Break-time
17:00-20:00 - 3rd game
21:30 - Doors Close

Please use the two Sign Up threads for arranging games. On the day, please be flexible if someone comes along who hasn't arranged something or if someone unexpectedly cancels.

If people could please copy/paste this to their Facebook accounts and spread the word, that would be great. If one of the Japanese players could put a copy up on the Mixi group and post back with player names and games they'd like to play (or they can post themselves in Japanese if they'd like, there is nothing stopping them from doing so), that would also be very helpful.
