NagoyaHammer - Last Minute Stuff
NagoyaHammer - Last Minute Stuff
Only a few days to go, time to make sure that it all goes as smoothly as possible.
Please ensure that you have everything you need for the games you plan to play. Minis, tape measure, dice and copies of your rule/army books and lists.
As always, I will be bringing as much terrain as I can carry, but that isn't enough for every game that is going on. If everyone could squeeze some terrain into their bags, it will really help out a lot. Specifically, I think we are going to need extra 40K terrain for all the games of Newcromunda going on, as well as some WW2/generic countryside terrain for Bolt Action. Even if you aren't playing a particular game, if you can provide a little terrain it will help out a lot.
I think we will need 3-4 extra grass/terrain mats over what I am bringing as well.
For people playing games with a specific scale/genre such as DZC and Epic, you guys will need to cover yourselves for what you need as I really don't have anything suitable.
Finally, please do you best to get to the venue at 9. The sooner everyone gets there, the sooner we can start rolling dice. The more people who are there when the doors are open, the faster we can get tables set up.
Is anyone planning to drive? I have one set of parking vouchers for the weekend?
Thanks!
P.

I'm planning to drive Prim. Could I please grab the parking permit? As an incentive, I will be able to bring lots of terrain for multiple games

I'm planning on driving, and will bring my box of Necromunda terrain if the Shadow Wars people need it.
What're the parking rates without a voucher, by the by?

You can't use the car park without one, so you'll need to drop stuff off and then find a suitable spot nearby, which means public parking in the middle of the city prices. The Other Dave wrote:What're the parking rates without a voucher, by the by?
If Pikey is staying in a hotel nearby, how about the following:
Day 1 Pikey parks in the venue car park and drops everything off. He leaves his car at the hotel overnight.
Day 2 ToD parks in the venue car park and drops everything off. When Pikey bails early on day 2, he collects his car from the hotel, drives it to the venue and loads it up with his terrain/armies.
What do you think guys? Doable?

It'd work for me, but Mike would be the one who'd be doing all the shuffling of cars, so I'll go with what he thinks.Primarch wrote:What do you think guys? Doable?

I'm not planning on driving, but will bring a mat and full table of terrain for shadow wars. If someone who is driving wants to pick up some extra terrain from my place in Takaoka I can supply more...
