NagoyaHammer 2018 - May 12th and 13th

Post by Primarch » Mon Oct 02, 2017 3:03 am

I am pleased to announce that the venue is booked and the date is set for NH18. You are all cordially invited to join me for 2 days of gaming, rolling dice and perhaps drinking a couple of beverages at the NTK Hall in Kanayama.

On Saturday the 12th of May and Sunday the 13th, players will have the chance to test their skills against some of the best (and worst, and I guess kinda average) players in the Chubu region. Mark the dates on your calendar, book time off from work and make plans to foist the kids off on some relatives! It's time for NagoyaHammer!!! (Is three exclamation marks too many?)

As usual, one day will be given over to 40K (8th edition presumably, unless GW wants to double down and pump out a 9th edition in this fiscal year). On the second day, players are free to organise their own games of 40K if they wish, but some time and tables will be set aside for Bolt Action.

Feel free to express excitement, joy or unbridled rage below.

I'll do what I can to show up for both or at least one day. Of course this these things tend to be at the mercy of my job and wife. Most likely I can join for at least one day.

Thank you for booking the venue Prim, its a hassle to go all the way there in person, so very much appreciated. :) :)

As always I will be there unless catastrophe strikes.

good point, Kbear. Thanks for doing the legwork and organising this again, Prim - I'm aware it's a pita to organise such things, so please know we appreciate it.

Was just talking to mrs MiJ about this. It seems that the first Saturday after GW is always going to be a work day for her, so as with last year I won’t be able to make day 1. I’ll try to organise a hotel for saturday night though, and come along for the drinks in the evening/gaming on day 2.
