Best General

The Best General will be awarded to the player with the most victories to their name. If you win the most games then you win the Best General award.
In the event of a tie, Victory Points will be used to decide the winner.

Best Painter

The Best Painter prize will be decided by the participants. Each player will be asked to vote for what they think is the best painted army. The player with the most votes will win. In the event of a tie both players will have to drink a glass of paint. First one to finish wins. Either that or I will have the deciding vote, we'll see. :D

Best Sportsman

After each game, players will be given a checklist to fill out about how their game went, and their opponent's attitude and manners. The player who gets the most points checked off wins the award. In the event of a tie, the player with the lowest number of Victory Points will win. Its easy to win graciously, but much harder to be curb stomped repeatedly and still keep smiling and laughing.

One last thing,
8th edition of Warhammer is new to everyone. The dynamics of the game have changed and the balance between forces has been adjusted. As such there is no way to check composition fairly. I would ask that people respect that and try to bring a fair, fun, balanced force, but ultimately it is up to each of you to decided what that entails. The purpose of the game is for you AND your opponent to have fun playing the game.
To make things go smoother please READ the rulebook before the event. Try to get some practice games in. Post a question in the WFB rules forum, or ask someone if you're not sure about something. Time spent flicking backwards and forwards in the rulebook is time you're not playing the game.

The standard measurement for the tournament will be inches. Players can use cm if they want to, but they should check with their opponent first.
