Those are Forgeworld Kits. I only listed the plastic GW kits that you can buy from them. I wasnt going to list their entire stock.kojibear wrote:What about this predator and Razorback Prim?Primarch wrote:Whilst we're on this topic, FW ONLY sell the following GW kits for 40k.kojibear wrote:Just a quick question about Forgeworld. Did there shipping fees go up as well?
I'll be needing some razorbacks or similar heavy support, so am curious.
Tau: Pirahna, Hammerhead, Devilfish, Skyray,
Marines: Land Raider (vanilla and crusader), Rhino, Drop Pod,
Chaos: Land Raider, Defiler,
Eldar: Wave Serpent,
Tyranids: Carnifex,
IG: Leman Russ, Demolisher, Chimera, Basilisk
Ork: Trukk.
So not bad for transports but sucks for pretty much everything else.

Re: The icing on the cake...
Can I request that people dont just buy straight up GW kits from FW? Reason being, theyll notice and f*** us on the shipping there, too. Possibly, if we just get FW stuff from FW, it might go unnoticed, since there is in fact no other option for doing so...
besides - if you have a FW marine army, it at least has the benefit of not looking exactly like every other bloody marine army out there. Get ye some extra armour and custom turrets, I say

Re: The icing on the cake...
I was just a little confused. I thought that FW only sold original products designed to be used for GW's 40K, I didn't realise they actually sold GW products. I agree with what you are saying MiJ.me_in_japan wrote:Can I request that people dont just buy straight up GW kits from FW? Reason being, theyll notice and f*** us on the shipping there, too. No worries
I wasnt actually expecting anybody to pay me any heed anyway.
Personally, as much as I dislike GW (and the extent of my feelings on them should be crystal clear to all by now) I, oddly, have no problems with FW. Their shipping, while high, is not insultingly so, and they will happily ship anywhere in the world without fear or favour. Also, their models are way, waaaaay better than a lot of what GW has churned out recently. I must confess, if I was a marine player, I would never be off their site.

You mean the GW staff using the GW website from inside the GW store. Well I guess that's pretty much the only set of circumstances where they could have expected to get an online sale.kojibear wrote:*sigh* Maybe this convinced GW

Does the Japanese say "Most customers ignore this website and the computer is just gathering dust in the corner"?

They're having a clearance sale. Looks like they're taking a Spevna Stance too.Spevna wrote:I don't know if this will help any of you lot but foundry miniatures seems to still be stocking GW stuff and, provided you order enough, still do free international shipping.

Foundry also do a good range of other stuff including historicals and fantasy. They are a little pricey compared to Perrys or Warlord I think (its been a while since I checked) but are obviously not bad compared to GW.
