I have received a request to try to keep the contingents threads on topic, so this section got cut out and moved.

It would seem to me that the people who complain are the ones who get what they want, so in light of that:
I think it is absolutely ridiculous that somebody felt it necessary to PM Prim and ask him to move a few frickin posts that were slightly off topic. This forum is how I talk to my friends. Conversations meander, it's what makes them interesting. I absolutely refuse to "stay on topic" to that extent. It wasnt a finalised set of rules. If it was, Prim wouldve locked it. It was an ongoing conversation.
Or perhaps I'm not allowed to say that in this thread? Am I only allowed to talk about pirate music here? Maybe I should start a new thread, perhaps, one called "MiJ's thread where people can talk about whatever the f*** they want."

Sorry, it wasn't meant to cause offence, personally I wasn't that bothered, especially because it wasn't really going anywhere, but I can understand that it's easier to keep rule-related threads clear of chatter if possible.
