In Australia and New Zealand, April 25th is the day we take a moment to remember the fallen, form the disaster in Gallipoli to the recent casualties in Afghanistan. Lest we forget.

Pretty sure the dastardly huns and their allies were involved somewhere along the line.
I'd say the Mr. Churchill was only 95% responsible at best.

But on a serious not, we should all spare a thought for those that have given their lives in service.

At least the sacrifices made were not entirely in vain. Australia and New Zealand took another giant stride to proper independence as a result and Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, the founder of modern Turkey, rose to prominence.

True enough mate. Turkey would be a very different place were it not for the events of WWI and the actions of The Spevna's namesake.
