Might be good but release date of....2015. Hope it is good and hope they make it a game where it is close to the actual game. you build an army and play the general while the army moves. you can freeze the game to give orders and continue from there. Sort of FPS, real time game. And the map has a terrain generator that rotates the map pieces and terrain for endless combos. lol. Yeah, right.

I have mixed feelings about this. Having played all of the TW games (except Shogun 2, the newest one), I think they reached a peak with Medieval 2. Empire was total dross and Napoleon was mediocre. The campaign system for the first 4 games worked very well, but they changed it a lot with Empire and then Napoleon, to the point that it became a lot of hard work to play the campaign game.
I'll wait and see how things go I guess.

They did a good job with Shogun II and fixed lots of things that were wrong with Empire and Napoleon. I think it is a good idea though I am curious to see how they handle it. I can see some tricky things they're going to have to balance
