That is so cool, and I am not even a skater-dude.
I wince when I think about how much money is being sunk into this Linear thing. I mean it's going to be like banks of super-conducting magnets, cooled to near absolute zero, from here to Tokyo. They'll need a new nuke plant just to fire it up. And these McFly guys are, "Hey, you can levitate on a skateboard and a sheet of graphite or copper or whatever..." Though, I'm sure there its more complicated than that.

Hadn't heard of the Linear thing before now. Is it also called the Chuo Shinkansen?
Quite an epic space-age type project; mostly straight and underground through mountains
In regards to the hoverboard; I never imagined it would be possible to levitate a person with just magnetic fields using a power unit small enough to fit inside a board-shaped object!
