I subscribed to Hulu this past week or so (mostly cos it has GoT S7 and all the new Doctor Who on it) but what I've watched has actually been S3 of Ash vs Evil Dead, and the first half a dozen eps of Cloak and Dagger.
Ash vs Evil Dead is pretty much what we've come to expect from S1 and 2, so no great surprises. It's still fun, but lacks the escalation that S2 brought (nothing in S3 comes close to the morgue scene in S2*). Also, Pedro and and Kelly seem to have a lot less screen time than last season, which is a shame, as I reckon they're one of the best things about the show. But, on the plus side, it's still Ashy Slashy doing his thing, Lucy Lawless is still good, and it does a fairly good job of rescuing itself from the shambles that was the final episode of S2. Worth a watch, if you like that kind of thing.
Cloak and Dagger is an odd one. If you're unfamiliar with the franchise, it's another Marvel superhero property**, but obviously not one of the Netflix ones (both in terms of tone, and the fact that it's not, y'know, on netflix). But, neither is it your typical superhero-fights-bad-guys kinda thing either. The main characters are a pair of high school age kids - one is a pretty, blonde girl and the other is a handsome black guy. They (by means of a mysterious explosion thingy, which remains mysterious so far) acquire some...powers? Kinda? The thing is, the show goes to great lengths to develop their characters, their relationships with people around them, and all that kinda touchy feely stuff, but really doesnt go into what they can and can't do. This is deliberate, as the kids themselves dont know what the hell is going on, or indeed, realise that they are in any way connected (they're not friends). The result is a slightly confusing show where the same scene is shown from multiple points of view, it can be unclear what just happened, and things take kinda a long time to get on with themselves. But, now I'm on ep 6, the story has found its feet and the plot is starting to thicken nicely. There's an evil corporation, a dodgy cop (possibly several), drug dealers, secrets, murders and all that shizzle. The characters are kinda interesting, too. I won't spoiler things, but the way they shift from their childhood portrayals to their teenage selves is quite nice, I thought. After ep 1 I wasnt sure if I wanted to stick with it, but I'd say it's worth it.
So, more TV is happening in this golden age of TV in which we live. What are y'all watching just now, and does anybody have any Huly based recommendations? Not that I have the time to watch them, but hey, it's good to know

**I had no idea about this, and had no intention of watching the show until until they popped up last week in my son's bedtime story spiderman comic. Coinkidinks abound, eh?...
ps also, I finished Titans. Well, I say "finished" but the dang showrunners apparently shifted the last episode of S1 to the first ep of S2, so talk about yer cliffhanger ending! Yeesh! Overall not a bad show, and will likely watch S2, as well as Doom Patrol, which is a kinda-spinoff (and has Brendan Fraser in it! Yay! Glad he's getting decent work again

pps. I also watched S4 of iZombie, which is increasingly one of my favourite TV shows. Very clever writing, good acting all over the place, and just fun. It's definitely the closest thing we have to Buffy the Vampire Slayer in this day and age. Well worth the time needed to watch it.
