I'm never sure what music to put on when gaming.

Nothing, I have no music player in my games room
If I did, it would probably be something loud and rock-y. Powerman 5000 or something similar.

When gaming:
whatever Mus has on his stereo, as his place is the only place I ever game and listen to music at the same time

Good suggestions.
Depending on the game, I might try Jethro Tull's Thick as a brick.
I played Arkham Horror recently but didn't have anything sufficiently eerie.
