What time will said announcement be made?

If all goes according to plan it'll be sometime before lunch, as that is when most players are there. If everything arrives I will have models for people, a couple of rulebooks (with free dice no less) and an open book for people to look at. For the June game I will have 2 complete gaming tables ready, so anyone who does want to pick up some figures and join in has 1 month to get them painted and ready to go. (Only 8-9 minis per person so totally do-able I reckon).

Doors open at 10 a.m baby! I expect several of us to be there to set up and procrastinate a bit before the dice start rolling, so come by any time and around then.

#edit# Looks like we have a winner. Mike The Pike is the winner of The Plan's clever-dick prize. I have no idea what that prize is, or even any recollection of offering it. Congratulations to Mr. The Pike for Putting 2 and 2 together, getting 5 and then cleverly dropping the 1 to arrive at the correct answer.

Well, it's after 6pm and my little parcel of goodies hasn't arrived yet. I was hoping that everything would be here by now, but it looks like the unveiling of The Plan may be postponed/altered as it's going to be tricky without having any of the actual minis/books on hand.

Stupid delivery service...grumble grumble grumble....

Well, it looks like tomorrow's big event will not be taking place in the way I had imagined. The delivery service haven't come through with the goods, so I wont be able to bring them along to Joshin.
What I am going to do instead is:
I have print outs of all the minis. If you want them, just write your name and address on the print out and I will mail them to you (free of charge). You can then get them built and painted for the June event and you can pay me for them then.

Well, since the Joshin crew got the news today I figure its time to spill the beans.
The Plan was actually Cutlass. A 28mm skirmish game along the lines of Mordheim.
M_i_J's guess was Ron and Bones, which is a similar Pirate based game. Nice try.
I have 4 rulebooks and 7 crews on their way, but rather ironically I think they have been stopped at customs.

5 of the crews have been spoken for with Pikey taking the pirate chicks, Underdweller picking up dwarves, ToD claiming the undead crew and Kondo san going for the orcs. I myself have taken the British royal navy crews which leaves a choice of pirates or privateers for anyone who wants to join. Both crews are priced at 2550 yen, which is exactly how much I paid for them. The rule books are 2800 yen and include a free set of dice.
I am working on terrain now and I hope to have 2x 3' by 4' gaming tables ready for the next Joshin event to get this campaign started. If you are interested in one of the crews, please PM me and we can sort out the details.
