ちゃっす!

Post by Augustus » Sat Jul 03, 2010 6:42 pm

Sup everyone? I just found out I will be working in Igaueno and would love to get some 40k action in now and then. Also, I am really keen to play some Dnd, despite the fact I have never roleplayed before. I play Dark Angels and Brettonia in Fantasy. I have intermediate conversational Japanese with my range of understanding far outshining my ability to speak.

Thanks!
Steven

Hi there.

I don't know if there are many gamers in Iga Ueno. It may be that you have to travel a bit for gaming. The nearest place for you would be Yokkaichi and we try to get a once a month game there (keep checking the GameFinder forum). If it's an RPG you are after, Nagoya or Osaka would be your best best.

When will you be going to Iga Ueno? What kind of work do you do?

Dark Angels? Cool. My first army was Dark Angels, though with all the shiny new codexes that have come out since, they haven't seen much action. I have no idea where Igaueno is, but most of the players on here are willing to travel to play if you have space, or are very welcoming if you can make it to their places.

Anyhow, welcome to the forum and please check out the NagoyaHammer events section as we have a 40k tournament coming up in about 6 weeks or so.

Regards

Iga Ueno is far south of Yokkaichi, about a couple of hours by car. It's claim to fame is that it's a hotbed of ninja activity!! 8-)

I think your best bet for a gaming group is Yokkaichi... there is a large Japanese group in Yokkaichi Spvena and you should try and find it...

I'm not sure actually. I don't know if they are in the same direction to be honest. But either way the Tsu event isn't every month but the Yokkaichi one is .

After a quick look on the Kintetsu web site, it looks like Iga is about an hour away fromTsu, another half hour to Yokkaichi and another half to Nagoya. In th opposite direction, looks like you're about an hour twenty from Kyoto and an hour or so from Osaka. However there are occasional delays due to rival Ninja clans attacking the city :)
Anyways, all five cities mentioned above have Gaming groups of varying sizes.
