Hello everyone. I'm brand new to war gaming and decided to take the big step and bought the Indomitus set. Currently working on my Necrons at the moment. I found this forum via just browsing the web for a 40k group in the Aichi area.

I'm pretty excited to make some new friends and learn the game, especially trying crusade for my first games ever!
I hope you don't mind a barrage of questions in the near future.

Welcome! We're getting into Crusade in a big way here, and the more the merrier!

There's plenty of awesome folks playing non-40k games too, so you might get some chances to try other things as well 😀

Welcome! Take a look in the "Monthly Gaming Days and Meetings" subforum to see when our next get-together is (Spoiler: it's August 16th) - we have smallish numbers of people in nice big rooms, with masks on, although of course if you want to play it safe and wait until corona calms down a bit that's OK too! We're also nattering on about 40K and Crusade in the "Games Workshop" subforum.

Welcome to NagoyaHammer and the world of War Gaming in general.

If you have any questions, feel free to jump into any ongoing discussions or even start your own. Whether it's for painting advice, rules, tactics or background, we'll do our best to help out.

As The Other Dave mentions, the Games Workshop subforum is pretty active. You'll also see a fair amount of traffic in the ongoing What Did You Do Today thread. As you get models assembled and painted, feel free to post up pictures there for positive feedback and the occasional tip.

Thanks for the welcome! I'll be there on the 16th, if my Necrons are all ready by then.
