Hi!

I'm Jye, and I'll be moving from Melbourne to Nagoya in early September.

I'm a big Kill Team enthusiast, play a fair bit of Underworlds on the side, and I'm getting heavily stuck in to Warcry. Hoping to find some opponents for any and all of those in Nagoya!

Welcome to Nagoyahammer! There are a good number of KT players and at least one gentleman who’ll be very happy to hear you getting into Warcry (and there are more looking at the game).

Anyway, please join the threads or start some. Usually people get together at gatherings found in the events part of the forum.

Welcome! Yep, Kill Team is pretty big locally*, a few of us are into Underworlds, and even if WarCry doesn't take off I'm using it as an excuse to paint up a bunch of models, so you should be able to find opponents.

*Well, relatively - we're a pretty small scene really.

I'm Jason from Canada. I've been in Japan 12 years now, and had my eye on Killteam for the better part of last year and War Cry a bit more recently. But Unfortunately I haven't been able to get my group interested and so haven't played either game. I'm new to tabletop war gaming and don't actually own anything as of yet aside from an Age of Sigmar starter set I picked up last year to get my feet wet, and some Battletech minis.
I see there is an event this weekend (Jan. 19) is it ok to come and watch/borrow minis to play?

Personally, I don't play much in the way of Games Workshop games, but I do play Battletech.

Welcome! Great to have a new player on board.

There should be a bunch of games going on the 19th, so feel free to peruse. Certainly there’s still room for a game of KT or War Cry or if you are interested WWII themed Bolt Action. Don’t hesitate to ask anybody for a game.

Hello everyone, I'm Matt from Melbourne.

I moved to Nagoya 2 years ago but only just recently got back into 40k after a 10 year break. I also used to play WFB but unfortunately I only brought a few of my 40k miniatures to Japan with me. However I'm looking forward to expanding the collection and maybe trying out some new games in the future!

Welcome to NagoyaHammer.

40K seems to have undergone a large revival since 8th edition was released, and with 9th edition due soon I'm sure you'll have no trouble finding a game.
Sadly WFB is gone, but there are some local Age of Sigmar players.
Other GW games such as Warcry, Adeptus Titanicus and Aeronautica Imperialis are also played by a few people in this group.

Feel free to jump into any ongoing threads or start some of your own if you'd like. If there are any other games or genres you are interested in trying, you'll probably be able to find someone willing to give it a go, just open a thread to discuss it.
