Well, we had 20 participants for the Japan Open 3; another success. Every year the event gets bigger and better. It was a lot of fun and almost everyone stayed for day #2 (open gaming)

The results of the tourney went:

1. Brad of Iwakuni (Cryx - Goreshade3, Gaspy3, Skarre1)
2. Aouichirou of Tokyo (Convergence of Cyriss - Lucant, Syntherion, Axis)
3. Yamada of Hiroshima (Skorne - Makeda2, Makeda3, Xerxis1)

We also had prizes for best painted, best homemade objective, and "best challenger" (a.k.a. Last place)

There was a huge range of factions played (including Minions, Mercs, CoC). EVERY faction was represented except Khador.

Who knows what next year will bring, but we`ll aim for 24-28 players and even more fun.

Glad to hear it was a success!

We may be putting on a beginners tourney here in chubu. I ask a friend to suggest to another keen J-player to set something up and it is being looked into. Let's hope it happens.

Good luck, Dungeon Lord.

Every wargaming community needs that kind of TLC to keep it growing and lively. We are always trying our best to foster new players and convert (corrupt) new MWH players here.
