Please tell me to stop if I ask to many questions.

Do you have a restaurant recommendation around Shirakawa park for a "good cheap everyday restaurant".

I dont know the area so well, though I'm sure other people do. If you walk from the park along the main road (the high way runs overhead), go past Yamada Denki (a big electrical goods store) and keep going up to the main intersection. Just across the intersection is a burger shop called Freshness Burger. Personally I think they do some of the best burgers I've ever had.
The Osu Kannon area will probably have a lot more selection.

I don't know the area very well either but with those 4 words someone will eventually point you in the direction of a "famires" (family restaurant), I guess the best one is a chain called Saizeriya, they serve cheap and good japitalian food. But not much character to these family restaurants, they all look the same. I am sure there is some family restaurant around your area.

Go to Yummy Restaurant-- Hawaiian Korean BBQ, Yes, I am serious. It's fantastic, and roughly the same price as Saiyzeria. Heading towards Fushimi from Shirakawa, it's on the opposite, left side of the street. You'll see a Circle K on the corner, turn left there. It's about a block away from that corner Circle K off of Fushimidori.

In that general vicinity, there are a bunch of windows and places that sell cheap bento lunches, ranging from 300 to 500 yen.

It's cheaper to go to the conbinis, though.

BTW, I recently moved to Ichinomiya but lived in Osu Kannon for the last four years. Send me pm questions, because I hardly ever read non DnD posts on this board.

Salvatore Cuomo, around the corner from Fushimi Station exit 5, has pizza lunch buffets for 1000yen. Not exactly cheap on an everyday basis, but it's damn cheap compared to pizza in general, and has a good selection.

If you live near or in Osu, you are lucky indeed as there is a good variety of food to choose from.
