I'm glad to hear it went well and that you didn't have to call on some bicycling muscle, although we would have shown up if you called for it. 
It seems like Anjo may be a good place for you. It is on the JR Tokai line, so you have MtP to your east and Nagoya followed by Badruck to your west. Mie will just be one transfer away. Hope Anjo is a good fit for you.
